SSC CHSL Application Form 2020: Eligibility Criteria
As obvious, applying for any examination requires the candidate to acquire some qualifications and some general necessary criteria. SSC CHSL 2019-20 Eligibility Criteria is a bunch of required categories that is utmost important to fulfill if the candidate wants to apply for SSC CHSL Application Form 2019. Nationality:
The candidate must be an Indian Citizen. If not there are certain privileges for immigrants and some neighboring countries immigrants. Though the privileges are provided belonging to that group does not confirm the post. The candidates can apply and excel and based on the merit, they will be selected.
The applying candidate must be an Indian Citizen or must belong to one of the privileged group to apply and appear for the examination. The Privileged groups are the following:
- a subject of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
- It is a must that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
- A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the Examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after, the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him/ her by the Government of India.
Age Limit:
As mentioned earlier, the Age limit of the candidate is decided to keep the equality of level among the aspiring applicants. The Age limit factor does not allow the candidates of extreme age differences to compete. Though there are certain criteria which allows the candidates from privilege groups to achieve age relaxation in certain conditions. Educational Qualification:
To maintain the same level of education and knowledge, Minimum Educational Qualification is required. The candidates applying for SSC CHSL Application Form 2019-20 must be an Inter Graduate (12th Standard pass) or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
