SSC CHSL 2019: Eligibility Criteria Details

The candidates who want to Apply Online must go through the official notification before applying for the exam. It’s important to follow SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria 2019. Each candidate must fulfill all the criteria before applying for the examination on Application Form. Following are the important criteria that must be fulfilled.

Nationality / Citizenship

The applying candidate must be an Indian Citizen or must belong to one of the privileged group to apply and appear for the examination. The Privileged groups are the following:

  • a subject of Nepal, or
  • a subject of Bhutan, or
  • a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  • a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
  • It is a must that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
  • A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the  Examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after, the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him/ her by the Government of India.

Age Limit

The candidate must fall in the category of Age between 18 – 27 years as on 1st August 2019. Age relaxation is for the candidates on the basis of the reserved category they belong to. The candidates would be able to apply the general upper age limit exceeding. Do check the table for the respective Age Relaxation.

Educational Qualification

  • Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
  • For Data Entry Operator – 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
  • The candidates must have passed these examinations by 1st of August 2019 if they are applying for the examinations.

SSC CHSL 2019 Application Form

Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CHSL Application Form 2019 online on its official website – ssc.nic.in from 5th March 2019. The last date to fill in the application form is 5th April 2019. The candidates must have to read the complete notification before filling in the application form. An Application Fee for ssc chsl recruitment 2019  would be required for the successful submission of the application.

SSC CHSL Salary 2019

SSC CHSL Salary 2019 is often calculated in Gross Salary or Grade Pay. Along with the Grade pay, the servicemen also receive certain Allowances while on the job. SSC CHSL Admit Card 2019

Staff Selection Commission will release the Admit Card for Tier 1 and Tier 2 separately on its official website. The applicants may visit the official website and download the admit card for SSC CHSL 2019 exam. It is necessary to carry the admit card on the date of the examination to the exam hall. In absence of the admit card, candidate won’t be allowed to appear for the examination.

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2019

SSC CHSL is conducted in three tiers – Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3. Exam Pattern is set by the conducting body, Staff Selection Commission at the national level to recruit candidates for Lower Division Clerk (LDC) Postal Assistant (PA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO) posts. SSC CHSL for Tier 1 will be held tentatively in the month of April 2019. The pattern and syllabus of the exam are based on the 10+2 level curriculum of popular boards in the country.

CHSL Tier 1 Important Topics

Questions are based on class 10 and 10+2 level. Each section has their spacially like English section check candidates’ understanding of the language, General Intelligence, and Reasoning section aims to test the logical reasoning ability of a candidate, General Awareness section contains questions on general knowledge, current affairs and Quantitative Aptitude section is to test the candidate’s mathematical abilities.

CHSL Tier 2 Important Topics

Essays like – GST bill and its benefits, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PKVY), Demonetization, etc. related Topics.

Letter / Applications like – Complain letter regarding increasing Noise Pollution, Letter to present views on the effect of Digitization, Application for the post of a Manager/ Assistant/ Clerk, Application to Bank Manager etc.

SSC CHSL Cut Off

Staff Selection Commission will announce the Tier wise result for all the examination conducted under the Combined Higher Secondary Level. SSC CHSL Cut off Tier – wise will release on the official website of Staff Selection Commission. The candidates can visit the official website to download the cutoff marks list.

SSC CHSL 2018 -19 Result

Combined Higher Secondary Level examination will be conducted by SSC. The SSC CHSL Result 2019 for Tier 1 and Tier 2 will release on the official website – ssc.nic.in. Candidates who apply for the post can visit the official website and download their results. The Result will release in the end which will specify if the candidate is selected for the post and if they have successfully attempted the examination. To download the result, candidates must submit the login details that were provided to them earlier during the application procedure.

SSC CHSL Selection Procedure 2019

Staff Selection Commission will announce the official notification for SSC CHSL Recruitment 2019. The SSC CHSL Selection process 2019 is a multi-level event. SSC CHSL 2019 – Tie Breaking Procedure

Tie cases will be resolved by applying one after another, as applicable till the Tie is resolved.:-

  • Total Marks in Tier-I+Tier-II.

  • Total marks of Tier-II Examination.

  • Total marks in Tier-I Examination.

  • Date of birth, with older candidates, placed higher.

  • Alphabetical order in which the first names of the candidates appear.

The final decision by the Commission Authority will be considered to be final. No re-consideration or re-evaluation will be considered on the Final Decision Of Staff Selection Commission.
