SSC JE Cut Off 2019

SSC JE Selection Process

Staff Selection Commission will select the candidates on the basis of their total marks in the Paper – 1 & 2 and preference for the posts. Candidates belonging to the reserved category such as SC, ST, OBC, and PH (PWD) have to score the minimum marks required. Paper 1 shall be of Objective Type of 200 Marks and the duration will be 2 Hours. On the other hand, Paper 2 will be Conventional Type of 300 Marks and the timing will be 3 Hours. In case of a tie, the following resolution will be followed.

In cases where more than one candidate scores the equal aggregates marks, the tie will be resolved by applying the following methods one after another.

  1. Total marks in Paper-II.
  2. Total marks in Paper-I.
  3. Date of birth, with older candidates, placed higher.
  4. Alphabetical order in the first names of the candidates appeared.
