SSC MTS Salary 2018 – Job Profile

The candidates are soon going to apply for SSC MTS Recruitment 2018 – 19. SSC MTS Career Growth

Career Growth has a complete scope of increment and promotion. There are two types of increments provided under Pay Band-I scheme for SSC MTS Salary.

  • Annual increments and

  • Promotional increments.

Annual Increments
  • Annual increments are to be paid at the rate of 3% of the total pay in the Pay Band and the corresponding Grade Pay.

Promotional Increments
  • SSC conducts various Departmental exams for the promotion of the employees in Government Offices in various ministries. The officers would be allotted the grade pay according to the new post.

Note:  According to the Rule 5(2) of Central Civil Accounts Service (Lower Division Clerk, Group ‘C’ post) Recruitment Rules 2010, 5 % of the vacancies in the grade of LDC are to be filled by promotion on seniority basis through common “Range of Seniority” from among Group ‘C’ staff (Multi-Tasking Staff) who have three years regular service in post with the Grade Pay of Rs. 1800.

The Grade Pay increases with every promotion

  • First Promotion: Rs. 1900/- after 3 years of service.
  • Second Promotion: Rs. 2000/- after 3 years of service.
  • Third Promotion: Rs. 2400/- after 5 years of service.
  • And so on up to Rs.5400/-
